Details About the deepest cave is located:

Veryovkina Cave is the world’s deepest known cave. It is situated in northwest Georgia, in the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. The cave’s lowest known depth is more than 2.2 kilometers (1.37 miles) below the surface of the planet. Although it was initially founded in 1968, a team of Russian speleologists wasn’t able to thoroughly explore its depth until 2018 when they succeeded in reaching the lowest point. The cave diver Alexander Verëvkin, who perished there in 1983, is honored with the name of the Veryovkina Cave. It is situated in the Gagra mountain range’s Arabika Massif.
