Why and Its Reason to Name it “Omicron”
When the global pandemic Corona virus first appeared in the world at the end of 2019. several types of it have been emerging since then. And now A new strain of the corona virus discovered in South Africa. Omi Kroon, is currently the latest find in the epidemic. It should be noted that the alarm bell for the world is named after the 15th; word of the Greek alphabet Omi Krup. which is Omi Kroon. Furthermore Other viruses have previously been named after the first 12. letters of the Greek alphabet; but the 15th was chosen instead of the 13th and 14th.
British journalist Paul Nuki says. A WHO source confirming the letters Nu and Xi of the Greek alphabet had been deliberately avoided. Nu had been skipped to avoid confusion; with the word “new” and Xi had been skipped to “avoid stigmatising a region”, they said. All pandemics inherently political. But name does not matter what matter is how serious it is and how dangerous it could be. Because we just know tip of iceberg and a lot more is yet to come.
World Economy after Threat of Omicron Variant:
As the new Corona virus variant named Omicron emerges; the whole world is under attack of inflation, down grade economies and a lot more. As the oil industry was just recovering after Covid-19 first time after 2020. Now the oil Prices Went down again from 85$ per barrel to 72$ per barrel. Because of Down grade economy all the developing countries are under severe thread of hunger, inflation etc. But as of now scientist are predicting four types of scenarios ; Downside Scenario, Severe Scenario, False Alarm, Upside Scenario. Anyhow what next is million dollar question ! it depends on what scientists reveale about new variant of Corona Virus and also how world reacts on it. This time world has to act wisely and timely before its too late.
