Brief facts about FATF:

Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is an international inter-government body, founded in the year 1989 to combat the issue of money laundering, in year 2001 its functions were enhanced and controlling of terrorism financing was also included. The core objective of FATF is to control money laundering, terrorism financing and other related international issues that are threatening to international financial system. Since the year 2000, FATF has launched FATF blacklist, like FATF Grey List to put some ban on nations that are not following the rules of FATF regarding the above said functions of FATF
