The University of Central Punjab also known as UCP is a private educational institute. It is located in Lahore. The address of UCP is Khayaban-e-Jinnah Road, Lahore, near Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital.
The UCP is one of the top universities in Pakistan and the standard of education is very high. It offers many degree programs from arts to science and from engineering to computer sciences there are dozens of programs in which students can take admission
Punjab Group of Colleges
The University of Central Punjab is part of the Punjab Group of Colleges. It is supervised and managed by the same management. The University of Punjab is recognized by the Government of Punjab in the year 2002 as well as by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
The Higher Education Commission Pakistan ranking for the year 2022 has ranked UCP as a Business School in the 7th ranking in the city of Lahore.

History of UCP
The journey of the University of Central Punjab was started in the year 1996. Initially, the Punjab Institute of Computer Sciences, Punjab College of Information Technology, and Punjab College of Commerce were the bases of the university to start from scratch. Moreover, the faculty of engineering was started in 2002.
UCP Lahore Campus
The University of Central Punjab has its only main campus which is located in Lahore near the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital and Research Center. It is located just at the bank of Khayaban-e-Jinnah.
The total area of UCP is almost 500,000 square feet. This main campus was built in 2010 and there are primarily 5 blocks of this campus.
There is also an auditorium for the meetings and functions that are arranged at UCP. The capacity of the auditorium is 300 seats. Further, there is a library in the university that has 40,000 books on different subjects.

Mian Amir Mehmood is the real owner of the Punjab Group of Colleges and University of Central Punjab. He is also the owner of Dunya New Media Group.
