PTA Banned TikTok Again in Pakistan on Order of PHC. It is confirmed now that Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked access to the TikTok app all over Pakistan.
The spokesperson of PTA said that in obedience to the Peshawar High Court; all the service providers were strictly advised to restrict access to the famous social media application TikTok. The TikTok Application, at this time for millions of users, is not accessible at the time of filing the report.
The official of PTA further said that regarding the Peshawar High Court Decision; PTA sent a letter before the TikTok authorities. But no positive response received yet from TikTok Management. As of now, this is a statement with no official stance on it. Also, the Pakistan telecommunication authority or any of its representatives did not give any such remarks in the proceedings of the Peshawar High Court.

However, the Pakistan telecommunication authority did submit a report in court; that states “the TikTok management is cooperating to remove and regulate the prohibited content from the application”.
Previous Ban On TIKTOK
Before this TikTok, there was a ban on TikTok by the Pakistan telecommunication authority two times for allowing objectionable content. But on the assurance of TIKTOK management, the ban was removed; since then it was reportedly monitored and complained by many civil society persons that TIKTOK is ruining the social and moral life of youngsters.
In addition to this time, no one can access the TIKTOK application by any means unless TIKTOK owners appear in court. If anyone from the public files a plea against the ban and gives assurance that TITOK will remove all objectionable content from the platform. Also, they should explain a solid reason to convince the court regarding this ban on the application.
TikTok Response on Ban
On other hand, the TikTok officials say that they comply with local laws to remove objectionable content.
Similar Ban on YouTube in the Past
Point to remember! That same type of ban was imposed on YouTube in 2010. That ban lasts for four years. After that YouTube assured the court and government of Pakistan; that they will not allow any objectionable content on YouTube access inside Pakistan.

TikTok Banned in USA – Florida Universities
The American authorities have banned the use of TikTok at Florida University, America. The use of TikTok at state-owned universities in Florida is banned due to cybercrime security threats.
In his interview, one of the senators of America explained how China is getting information through TikTok social application. So, as a result, all the students, and officials at a State-owned Florida university were banned to use the TikTok app.
