In Ist-Generation Computers Vaccume Tubes were Main electronic component. To save anything in these type of computers magnetic drums and magnetic tapes were used. Machine Language was their Programming Language. They Consumed Large Scale Energy and also generate a lot of heat. They Were very slow in working and very big in size offten taking up entire room. Punching Card and Paper Tapes were input/output devices for Ist-Generation Computers . Almost 100 different Ist-Generation Computers were produced in 1950’s. such as ENIAC, UNIVAC1, IBM 650, IBM 701, etc.
