Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water

  • 1 pound ground meat or finely chopped vegetables
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add warm water and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. While the dough is resting, prepare the filling. Heat the oil in a pan and add the ground meat or chopped vegetables. Cook for a few minutes until the meat is browned or the vegetables are slightly tender.
  3. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, and salt to the pan and mix well. Cook for a few more minutes until the spices are fragrant and the filling is cooked through. Remove from heat and let it cool.

To Steam the Momo:
